Bank Of America Online:Charlotte, NC – Bank of America Corp. plans to offer online bank account that charges $ 8.95 monthly fee for a paper application and use of counters, as it seeks ways to offset the revenue loss due to new regulations.

“This is a clever way, perhaps, more thoughtful way than what I think many people predicted,” said Jefferson Harralson, an analyst at investment bank Keefe, Bruyette and Woods Inc.

A spokesman for Bank of America, said customers will continue to have the opportunity to consult with the counters on banking matters without charge, and the company is focus on the national level to respond to the changing preferences of consumers of banking services.
