Wet Buttermilk Prawn Recipe

There are lots of recipes you can do with prawns. You can add prawns in noodles, soup, fried rice, or you can just simply fry/steam it.

One of the most popular dishes that contain prawns is Wet Buttermilk Prawn. It's a dish that is very popular in Asia.

It's also a very easy dish to cook. Wet Buttermilk Prawn is often paired with rice.

Step 1 - Buy 1KG of prawn.
Step 2 - Then, peel off the skin.
Step 3 - Coat the prawns in cornstarch.

Step 4 - Pour cooking oil on a pan. After that, fry the prawns.
Step 5 - Once you're done frying the prawns, set aside the prawns.
Step 6 - Mince 1 whole garlic.

Step 7 - Saute the garlic.
Step 8 - Pour 1/2 of condensed milk and 1 can of evaporated milk and add one tablespoon of turmeric powder in the pan.

(Optional: curry leaves, spring onions)
Step 9 - Then, stir on high heat.
Step 10 - Once it's thickened, add the prawns that you've set aside earlier.
Step 11 - Plate it and serve.
